Adรญos Audio! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿพ

The main takeaway from studying audio storytelling is that it is more strenuous than it seems. Initially, I viewed audio storytelling as straightforward and had a “one size fits all” perspective. Now, I understand the artistic decisions behind finding and telling a story. Underlying themes, comedic timing, diction, and audio quality are factors that contribute to the effectiveness of a narrator’s story. Practicing and implementing the fundamentals of audio production has been a journey while creating my audio publications.

As I went through the motions of creating audio accompanied by short stories, my creative process was not always linear. Brainstorming was always an easy step for me. My mind often races. I can throw out ideas, regarding pretty much anything, at any given time. The stories I crafted stemmed from my childhood memories of Disney movies and my active imagination. I am a talker. I love telling stories. However, I experienced difficulties structuring my ideas once I began creating audio for my stories.

The structural difficulties I encountered while on my quest encouraged me to take my time. Since I am so quick on my feet regarding artistic ideas, I can sometimes rush through projects. However, I had to sit down, take my time, and go through a trial-and-error process, for my ideas to take full effect this time. Then, I was able to outline my audio creations and concisely edit them. Despite my struggles, I enjoyed how all of my projects turned out. Reviewing the result of my stories combined with audio is what I enjoyed the most throughout this time.
